By tradition, we have been celebrating the important events of Jesus' life on earth all through out the year. In these celebrations, we have been using symbols - too many symbols - that sometimes overshadow what we should really be celebrating for. This month, we celebrate the highlight of Jesus' earthly ministry. What is the cuteness and cuddliness of the Easter bunny, anyway, compared to the perfect sacrifice of our Savior?
Let's not be fooled by these symbols or anything else. Instead, let's just have a great celebration this Holy Week by turning our eyes to the One who made this celebration possible. Happy Holy Week, everyone! :)
